PruBSN Widens Range Of Takaful Protection Solutions WITH A CUSTOMISABLE GROUP PLAN
Introducing PruBSN Group@Work to Provide Comprehensive and Flexible Employee Protection


Kuala Lumpur, 26 July 2021
– Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad (PruBSN), Malaysia’s number one family takaful operator, today launched PruBSN Group@Work, a customisable group takaful plan specifically designed to provide comprehensive and flexible protection with healthcare benefits to employees as well as their family members. 

PruBSN’s Chief Executive Officer, Encik Wan Saifulrizal Wan Ismail said that the new customisable plan is in line with PruBSN’s purpose to help people get the most out of life. “The current pandemic situation has pushed people to be more aware of the importance of protection. Through this plan, we want to provide more employers and their employees affordable and accessible health protection, especially during unforeseen circumstances. PruBSN Group@Work is launched with the aim to provide tailored group takaful solutions with greater flexibility with a range of attractive coverage options for employees.”

Wan Saifulrizal shared that PruBSN has continuously looked at new ways to expand the group business. PruBSN Group@Work is a tailored group solution that meets the evolving needs of organisations from Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to Multinational Corporations (MNCs) and other companies in the government or private sectors. “The provision of employee protection benefits and peace of mind is key to workforce management. This in turn will motivate employees to perform their very best and help drive business growth. With PruBSN Group@Work, employers are able to provide more comprehensive benefits and ensure the well-being of their employees,” he added.

PruBSN Group@Work is a yearly renewable group takaful plan that offers greater flexibility to customise the protection plan according to the employer’s needs. This plan targets corporations or government institutions with a larger group of employees.

April this year, PruBSN launched PruBSN SME@Work, a pre-packaged plan designed to provide comprehensive protection and healthcare benefits to employees of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as well as their family members in times of need. The benefits essentially provide support to the employees’ families to continue their livelihood should any unforeseen circumstances befall them. 

Both PruBSN Group@Work and PruBSN SME@Work offer coverage on death and Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) under the basic plan. On top of this, other optional benefits are also available such as Group Accidental Death and Disablement Benefit, Group Critical Illness Benefit and Group Hospital and Surgical Benefit. For members with covered amount of RM60,000 and above, compassionate allowance is payable upon death of the Dependent.
