If you would like to ensure you remain continuously financially covered and protected by your Takaful certificate, contribution payments must be made regularly and on time.

If you would rather pay your contributions online, bank transfers can also be made via the PruBSN Online Payment portal.

The possibility of forgetting to pay a month or two of your contribution is very real, and this could lead to a potential lapse in your Takaful certificate – meaning, zero coverage or protection.

We will never be able to predict when we’ll fall sick or meet with an accident, but we do know we want to avoid incurring the risk of a lapsed Takaful certificate, especially if it’s due to simple human forgetfulness.

With this in mind, we strongly recommend enrolling in automatic contribution payments via PruBSN Touch – it’s secure, simple and convenient, and will only require a single registration to ensure your contributions will be paid timely. All you need to do is register with your certificate number along with a few other details, and opt for your preferred auto payment method. Options include auto deduction via direct debit from your bank account or, your preferred debit card or credit card.

If you are a government servant, you can opt for an automatic salary deduction. This is a convenient method for paying your contributions regularly and on time as it immediately deducts your contribution from your salary, ensuring you don’t spend it accidentally.

Use your e-wallet for extra convenience
E-wallets are a popular way to make payments these days, especially with many more businesses and retailers opting to go cashless. In this day and age of COVID-19, e-wallet payments also reduces the risk of catching unwanted viruses because you'll have minimal to no physical contact with the person receiving your moeny.

If you live in the city, chances are you already have a smartphone. You are able to download e-wallet mobile applications via your phone, leading to easy contribution payments that are one click away wherever you are. It is also safer to use e-wallets instead of physical cash when you make payments outside. You don’t have to risk your safety by taking out cash from your wallet to make payments.
